Magnesium castings manufactured by EUROMAG SA are mainly used by automotive, machine and electronic industry companies. Magnesium components also play a vital role in the production of furniture finishing elements, window woodwork and sports gear. Tar Heel Capital, a Polish-American venture capital fund managing assets of PLN 100 million, holds 100% of the shares in EUROMAG SA.

“Magnesium castings are a very beneficial solution allowing the reduction of the weight of the applied components without the necessity to abandon their high durability. At the same time magnesium is definitely cheaper than other structural metals. Furthermore, the magnesium casting surface is characterized by better smoothness and precision, which makes it superior to other materials. These are some of the many reasons that magnesium is a perfect alternative for manufacturers employing zinc and aluminum components” said Grzegorz Bielowicki, a partner of the Tar Heel Capital Fund.
