EUROMAG has become a member of THE AMERICAN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
EUROMAG – one of the largest and most modern magnesium die casting foundries in Poland – has joined the group of members of the prestigious American Chamber of Commerce. AmCham represents the interests of its members by keeping them informed about the legal, commercial and economic activities of the Polish government and business organizations.
“The Chamber acts as an intermediary in establishing business relationships that enhance the position of our company in the world of business. Participation in the monthly meetings will help us to create and promote our brand on the international arena” – says Grzegorz Bielowicki, the President of the Board of EUROMAG SA. The American Chamber of Commerce has existed since 1991 as a non-profit and nonpolitical organization. Its aim, determined in its charter, is to attract foreign investors to Poland as well as to promote American commerce, investments and industry. Currently, more than 300 companies are associated in AmCham, including Whirlpool, Hewlett Packard, or Coca Cola. Companies or individual entrepreneurs can become a member of the American Chamber of Commerce. Membership is open to corporations registered in the United States or joint-venture companies. International companies operating on both the Polish and foreign markets can also enter the Chamber. EUROMAG already has numerous international contacts – it has signed a contract recently with Japan’s Makita – a leading manufacturer of professional electric tools on the global market. EUROMAG was selected from among leading European die-casting companies. The orders executed for Makita include the casting of components for state-of-the-art circular saws. Makita’s factories are located in Japan, Germany, Canada, the USA and Brazil, supplying to the market 10 million machines each year. The annual turnover of Makita is 1.5 billion Euro and they constitute almost 20% of the global electric tool trade.
