MID (Measuring Instruments Directive - 2004/22/EC) is a European measuring instruments directive that combines the requirements of different types of measuring instruments for domestic, commercial and industrial use, and sets out the requirements that these devices must meet before they can be placed on the market and/or used.
The aim of the MID is to improve consumer protection and safeguard their interests, thus providing manufacturers with a single certificate of approval valid throughout Europe on their instruments. The measuring instruments can be: water meters, gas meters, thermal energy meters, weighing instruments and others.
Euromag certifies its products
Euromag is among the companies notified in Italy to operate according to Directive 2004/22/EC for the products MUT1000EL, MUT2200EL and MUT2300. The certification attests that the instruments used by Euromag are designed and manufactured in compliance with precise technical standards and have passed rigorous tests. In order to display the CE mark according to this directive, Euromag has demonstrated that its products are durable, reliable, suitable for their intended use and sensitive to the required measurement with repeatable and accurate results.
